This affordable and portable ChartKit Plotter is part of a navigation system
designed for quick and accurate navigating with most any chart, chartkit or
chartbook.  The new design of the ChartKit Plotter especially accommodates
Admiralty Leisure, Imray chart books, and Maptech ChartKits. The ChartKit
Plotter is constructed of solid wood that incorporates an adjustable parallel
arm fitted with a movable compass rose. A see-through acrylic sheet overlays
 and protects the ChartKit Plotter as you plot and allows for notations using
 the included dry erase markers (red, black, green and blue).

The ChartKit Plotter system enables easy plotting of compass courses and firmly supports chart work whether in the cockpit, on deck or below. Set the ChartKit Plotter's compass rose for true or magnetic north, then plot a course to a given point by aligning the rule with the intended course. The rule overlays the course on the rose on the ChartKit Plotter allowing you to quickly determine the correct compass course to steer.  Also included with the ChartKit Plotter is a tough case made from Tough Duck, a PVC backed polyester duck fabric, for added strength and durability, handle makes for easy stowage.

  GPS Plotter


 At first glance you might think this GPS chart plotter is just another traditional parallel plotter, but upon closer examination you will see that this new instrument was specifically designed for the modern navigator. The GPS Plotter is a GPS chart plotter that provides a straightforward and effective interface between a GPS and a paper chart. It’s true that the electronics age has revolutionized the way we navigate forever. Latitude and longitude are often read straight from the display of a GPS receiver much like the one found on the GPS chart plotter.  But despite advances in electronic charting, a wise seafarer will always carry hardcopy paper charts for the reasons of safety backup, reliability and cost.

No existing plotting tools lend themselves to plotting a position using latitude and longitude from a GPS. They were not designed for that purpose and are awkward, cumbersome and slow. The GPS Chart Plotter enables the lat and long obtained from a GPS to be quickly, easily and accurately plotted on a paper chart in a simple two-step maneuver. The GPS Chart Plotter does this with its innovative straight-line action and its special pencil guide holes.



Designed and manufactured in England, the GPS Chart Plotter is made in a sturdy clear acrylic for maximum chart visibility and in one size to cover all chart sizes.
